DUBAI: The ICC has released the T20 Players Rankings, with Pakistani captain Babar Azam facing a decline in the T20 and Test rankings.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam’s poor performance in the T20 and Test series against Bangladesh has reduced his rankings. Babar Azam has already moved up to a third position in the T20 rankings while he has moved up from 8th to 9th position in the Test rankings.
In the T20 rankings, England’s David Milan is first and South Africa’s Eden Markram is second, while Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan is fourth. Mohammad Nabi of Afghanistan is number one in the all-rounder in the T20 rankings.
In the T20 bowling rankings, Shadab Khan has moved up one place to 9th position. Fast bowler Shaheen Afridi is ranked 11th in the bowling rankings. Fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has moved up from 5th to 3rd position in the Test bowling rankings.
In the ICC Test rankings, English captain Joe Root tops the list, followed by Australia’s Marin LeBoschin and Steven Smith. Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi is third and Hassan Ali is 10th in the Ballers Test rankings.
