Babar Azam becomes fastest batsman to score 9000 runs in T20

LAHORE: The captain of the national cricket team, Babar Azam, has set another record by scoring the fastest 9,000 runs in T20 cricket.

The Peshawar Zalmi captain crossed the milestone with his 35th run during his innings against Islamabad United in Eliminator 1 of HBL PSL 8.

Babar Azam completed 9000 runs in his 245th T20 innings, while Chris Gayle, known as the Universe Boss, achieved this milestone in 249 innings.

Virat Kohli is third on this list and David Warner is fourth, both of them have completed 9000 runs in 271 and 273 innings respectively. It should be noted that Babar Azam completed the journey of 8,000 to 9,000 runs in just 27 innings.

Similarly, Bar Azam has the honor of scoring the fastest 7000 runs in T20 cricket. Babar was second on the list of fastest 8000 runs and fastest 6000 runs.
