An audio recording featuring leaders of the Fitna-al-Khawarij, Noorwali and Haji Ghat, has been leaked, raising alarms about terrorist activities in Pakistan and the presence of safe havens in Afghanistan.
According to media reports, in the recording, Noorwali pressures terrorists entering Pakistan, insisting they cannot return to Afghanistan. He stresses that “Mujahideen” must stay true to their cause, urging them not to stray from their path.
The conversation terms militancy as Jihad, although there is no connection between terrorism and Islam. The audio emphasizes the need for all members to be ready to make sacrifices and remain united in their mission, with sacrifice meaning killing oneself for the sake of terrorism and the ulterior motives of the militants.
As per reports, defense experts have pointed out that the leaders of the Fitna-al-Khawarij, who operate from Afghanistan, continue to issue commands to terrorists, suggesting that their refuge is being protected by the Afghan Taliban. It is worth mentioning that Fitna-al-Khawarij came to the limelight in recent years.
Understanding that terrorism cannot be Jihad, analysts have noted that with Taliban support, the Fitna-al-Khawarij have been behind numerous terrorist attacks in Pakistan, pointing to a troubling collaboration between the two groups.
The audio also suggests a potential influx of foreign militants into Pakistan, with Noorwali reportedly pressuring lower-level operatives to join the “jihad.” Experts have observed a growing dissatisfaction among many militants with their leaders in Afghanistan.
Experts argue that figures like Noorwali are exploiting the jihad narrative to profit in dollars, questioning why leaders like him avoid directly confronting security forces. They accuse him of deceiving his followers while financially benefiting from their actions.
