SUKKUR: Accountability Court has extended the hearing of the assets case filed against Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah till 28th March.
AC Judge Ameer Ali Mahesar conducted the hearing where Khursheed Shah was brought for hearing in an ambulance due to his poor health.
The judge asked the cause of the absence of another accused in the same case Junaid Shah in the court hearing from his counsel. To which the counsel replied that his client skipped the hearing as he was out of the country.
The court ordered Junaid Shah to appear before the court in the next hearing of the case.
Khursheed Shah is currently admitted at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) in Sukkur. His family members including two wives, two sons and son-in-law of Khursheed Shah were also summoned by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
