KARACHI: Co-Chairman of the People’s Party and former President Asif Ali Zardari has quietly left for Dubai while the situation of tension and crisis continues in the country’s politics.
According to details, the former president met Q-League chief Chaudhry Shujaat at least twice to save the prime ministership of the coalition political party PML-N in Punjab.
During the meetings held before departure to Dubai, there was a detailed discussion regarding the retention of Hamza Shehbaz as the Chief Minister of Punjab, and statements from other parties including PTI also came out in this regard.

Former President Asif Ali Zardari left the country the previous day after the meetings did not yield sufficient results. The co-chairman of the People’s Party had reportedly chosen a foreign airline to fly to Dubai.
It should be noted that today an important case is being heard in the Supreme Court regarding the retention or not of Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz as the Chief Minister. Analysts are speculating on the departure of Asif Ali Zardari on this occasion.
