ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has warned that the coronavirus has not completely been curbed from Pakistan yet.
While addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the federal minister said that the government’s timely measures and people’s cooperation have led to largely controlling coronavirus pandemic in the country.
The government’s policies of contact tracing, smart lockdown, and public awareness have contributed greatly to contain the spread of the pandemic in a short period, the minister said. “We are not making any victory announcement on reduction in the virus cases as everyone is a witness of government’s effective policies,” the minister maintained.
