KARACHI: A 10-member Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Medical delegation led by the Chief of ICU Department at PLA General Hospital Major General Doctor Zhou Feihu met with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi.
According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) today, during the meeting, both sides discussed matters related to the control of COVID-19 pandemic and Pakistan’s comprehensive response against the outbreak.

The Army Chief expressed gratitude for China’s help related to instant medical supplies and other assistance especially the visit by the Chinese medical experts to support Pakistan’s fight against the COVID-19 epidemic.

General Bajwa further said that while the world is still making efforts to find a cure against COVID-19, multinational support and global cooperation is very important to boost national efforts to control the pandemic and also its economic impact.
