RIYADH: Army Chief Gen Asim Munir called on Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received in AlUla on Monday.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting discussed ways to develop bilateral relations in addition to issues of mutual interest.
Saudi and Pakistani senior officials attended the meeting.
Gen Asim Munir, who is currently visiting Saudi Arabia, visited Holy Kaaba where its doors were opened for him.
Videos and pics viral on social media showed Gen Asim Munir, donning a black jacket and pants, can be seen exiting the Holy Kaaba with some other people.
Another clip shows the Army Chief visiting Masjid-e-Nabwi, the second holiest mosque in Islam, with Saudi security personnel escorting the military commander.
