Netflix’s new Korean drama ‘Little Women’ which debuted this weekend has already gained high ratings after the premiere of its first two episodes.
The first episode of the drama which aired on September 3 achieved an average rating of 6.4 percent nationwide, scoring the first rank in its time slot among all cable channels. Plot
Directed by Kim Hee-won, Little Women is a Korean mystery thriller series that revolves around three sisters who share a close bond and saw extreme poverty all their life.
The story takes a new turn when the siblings experience a major incident that introduces them to a new world of power and money while coming across the richest family in the nation.
The series depicts the story three poor sisters’s involvement in the case of 70 billion won going missing, and how they bravely face Korea’s richest family. According to Netflix, Little Women is packed with many twists and turns.

According to Soompi, it became the most-watched series with viewers aged from 20 to 49 while maintaining an average rating of 4.5 percent.
Similarities between series and novel
There is a huge plot twist between the novel and the series based on the same name. While the novel ‘Little Women’ revolves around the March sisters’ coming of age, this Korean drama centres on the mysterious money the siblings found. They decide if it should be returned or spent to better their lives.
