MM News Staff by MM News Staff
May 4, 2023

Pakistani dramas are not only popular in the country but also outside the country.

Recently, viewers have witnessed how drama makers have started adding more and more negative elements to the show to gain more International audiences’ attention. The makers even gave up on message-oriented content writing.

This year, Pakistani television channels have produced many hit serials with mindless characters specially centric female characters.

Here are the characters who are setting really bad examples, as per the social media:

Maheer from ‘Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha’

Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha Episode 9- Viewers Feel Sad For Saad | Reviewit.pk

Maheer, played by Hania Aamir, is Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha’s leading character. In the drama, Mahler is a perfect example of a selfish and mindless girl who is setting an extremely bad example for the young girls who fantasize about dramas and take messages from dramas.

For viewers, Maheer is:

  • Seen badly crying day and night for the guy who was her lover in the past and that too her love life was of a very short span.
  • Hating each and every one just for the sake of one guy who just entered her life a year ago.
  • Also tried to betray her husband Saad.
  • The one who is wrong and creating a lot of fuss as if the whole world is wrong and she’s right.

Meerab From ‘Tere Bin’

What's wrong with Meerab's character from 'Tere Bin'?

Played by Yumna Zaidi, Meerab also acts mindlessly in extremely crucial situations.

Firstly, She invited trouble by refusing her husband’s order and running towards Malik Zubair’s farms.

Secondly, she took a stand for Naila in front of the local court when Naila herself was ready to marry the guy Murtasim chose for her.

Meerab helped Maryam in running away from home, just a day before her wedding.

She sent her with Anas (Malik Zubair) who was on a mission to disgrace her husband Murtasim’s family.

For viewers, Meerab is continuously being selfish, stubborn, rebellious, disobedient, and thankless.

Haya from ‘Tere Bin’

Sabeena Farooq on getting threats for role in 'Tere Bin'

Tere Bin’s Haya, played by Sabeena Farooq, is the most negative character on television. She is playing the character of an orphan child who lives in her aunty’s (mother’s sister) house after the death of her parents.

As a young adopted child, her thankless behaviour towards the guardians is disturbing. She lives in her aunt’s house and has kept her eyes on her son, shown as an obsessed lover of Murtasim, she thinks it’s her right to be with Murtasim all the time or anytime.

Haya can go into Murtasim’s room at any hour of the day even after his marriage. She can even go to the village with him for countless days and she’s allowed to do that.

Haya also indulges in black magic practices to fetch her love Murtasim. She’s plotting against Meerab, she’s hating Meerab, and she’s refusing marriage by plotting against Maryam. Social media thinks that Haya is the most obnoxious character found on television.

Huriya from ‘Agar’

Huriya from Agar, played by Hina Altaf, is a girl who became a widow at a very young age and was forced to remarry but she could not forget her first husband, so she did not.

Huriya rejects her second husband and came back to her home. Huriya is now keeping an eye on her sister Ainee’s husband after developing a soft side for her brother-in-law because he’s rich and good-looking.

Huriya is a selfish and mindless character, who despite being married, is thinking about marrying another man. For viewers, her character is disturbing and she is setting a bad example of thinking about other men being in the nikah of Meheryar.

Haya From ‘Hook’

Kinza Hashmi stuns fans with 'Pyar Nai Fir Kerna' - Daily Times

Haya from Hook, played by Kinza Hashmi, is a young girl’s character who is clueless about her life and was forced to marry an older guy Jaffer because she was responsible for the death of his younger brother.

Haya had the chance to marry her lover but she preferred a forced marriage with Jaffer. Haya marrying Jaffer, was totally an unacceptable thing because he was already a married man.

Haya accepted the man who abducted her and now her purpose of life has changed, her life’s sole purpose is to be an obedient wife to an old married guy who forcefully married her.

Haya has now forgotten her past, her family and her love and seems to be invested in a place where she is hardly fitting in.

Farah From ‘Mere Ban Jao’

Farah from Mere Ban Jao, played by Mehrunnisa, is a beautiful young girl who is Fardeen’s first cousin. She loves Fardeen and marries Fardeen after his horrible treatment with Azmia.

Well, Farah knows that Fardeen is an extremely psycho man but still, she expressed her love to him. Farah is seen blindly trusting a guy who forced Azmia into the consummation of marriage before rukhsati, also, divorced her, and planned a Rukhsati.

A girl like Farah, blindly falling for a psychopath and marrying him is truly unbelievable.
