NEW YORK: US multinational online technology company Amazon has announced to take its investment in India to $26 billion by 2030.
According to international media, Amazon has announced to increase its investment in India to $26 billion by 2030. The announcement by Amazon Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Andy Jessee after his meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the US will add $6.5 billion in new planned investments.

Amazon said in a blog post that Modi and Jassi discussed supporting Indian startups, creating jobs, enabling exports, digitizing, and empowering small businesses to compete globally.
It should be noted that during his visit to America, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with other American and Indian technology executives including Apple, Google, and Microsoft, and appealed to them to invest in India.
