ISLAMABAD: President Arif Alvi hasreconstituted the Council of Common Interests (CCI), said a notification issued on Thursday.
The notification further stated that the new CCI will have seven members and Prime Minister Imran Khan would be the chairperson of the CCI.
Besides the rpeime minister as its chairman, other members of the CCI including chief ministers of four provinces the other nominees of the federal government include,Minister for Planning Asad Umar, Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Fehmida Mirza and Minister for Power Division Omar Ayub Khan.
The Council of Common Interest (CCI) meeting scheduled for 11 December 2019 was postponed due to excess agenda shared from the Sindh. Conversely, the Sindh government has requested the prime minister to take in more items in the meeting’s agenda.
