LAHORE: Another audio recording of PTI leaders Dr Yasmin Rashid has surfaced online, but this time she is allegedly talking to Brigadier (retd) Ijaz Shah about party’s strategy to counter police assault at Zaman Park.

The audio was leaked online at a time when contingents of Punjab Police and Rangers retreated for a while after almost 20 hours of assault at the residence of PTI Chairman Imran Khan in Zaman Park area. Several PTI workers and supporters are reported to have been injured during the course of pitched battle with LEAs since yesterday.
Interestingly, the first audio of Dr Yasin Rashid was leaked in February in which she was allegedly talking to the then CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar, purportedly discussing Supreme Court’s proceedings.
In the latest audio, Dr Yasmin Rashid purportedly conveying Imran Khan’s call to all party leaders to reach his Lahore residence where a siege-like situation continued since Tuesday noon.

In the audio, Dr Yasmin could be heard telling Brigadier Ijaz that she had just talked to party Chairman Imran Khan, who had asked her to tell the party’s each and every ex-MNA and ex-MPA to rush to his Zaman Park residence along with workers.
Then Brigadier Ijaz replies in affirmative.
Dr Yasmin tells him that Imran had told her that any ex-MNA, ex-MPA failing to reach his residence would not be awarded a ticket for the next elections.
