Alkhidmat Foundation President Dr. Hafeez ur Rahman visited Egypt on Eid ul Adha to express solidarity with displaced families from Gaza and oversee the organization’s Qurbani campaign for Palestinian refugees.
Representatives from Pakistan Medical Association and Alkhidmat Norway also accompanied the delegation.
During the visit, the delegation inspected slaughterhouses in Ras Gharib and Nobaria near the Gaza border, reviewing arrangements for meat preparation, packaging, and delivery for affected families. After Eid prayers, Dr. Hafeez met orphan children, widows, and refugee families supported by Alkhidmat in Egypt, where sacrificial meat, Eid gifts, and cash presents were distributed among the children and families.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Hafeez ur Rahman said the people of Pakistan had once again shown strong support and solidarity with the people of Palestine.
He added that Alkhidmat Foundation is arranging the sacrifice of 950 animals this year for war-affected families in Gaza and remains committed to bringing relief and happiness to innocent children and displaced families.
