KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former federal minister Ali Zaidi has been transferred from Karachi to Jacobabad Jail.
The Sindh Home Department had declared Ali Zaidi’s house as a sub-jail and shifted him to his house two days ago due to his ill health. According to the notification issued by the Sindh Home Department, the former federal minister was ordered to be transferred to Jacobabad Jail under the MPO.

It should be noted that only Ali Zaidi was given the facility of house arrest, but the Sindh government faced criticism. On the other hand, PTI Sindh leader and former opposition leader of the Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi has been transferred from Karachi Central Jail to Sukkur Jail.
The notification issued by the Sindh Home Department stated that Firdous Shamim Naqvi was directed to be transferred to Sukkur Jail.
