Harlan Coben’s latest Netflix thriller, “Caught”, made an immediate splash, becoming a sensation within hours of its debut on March 26.
Adapted from the novel of the same name, this marks Coben’s first story reimagined in a Latin American setting, delivering the signature suspense, drama, and intrigue his fans have come to expect.
The plot revolves around Ema Garay (played by Soledad Villamil), an accomplished journalist renowned for her ability to track down criminals. Her investigative prowess is put to the ultimate test as she delves into the mysterious disappearance of a teenage girl.

Ema’s investigation takes an unsettling turn when the main suspect is revealed to be a highly respected community member—someone who defies the usual profile of an online sexual predator. This forces Ema to wrestle with the unsettling question: is he an innocent man caught in the wrong circumstances, or an expert in hiding his darker motives?
Caught brings together a talented cast, including Soledad Villamil, Juan Minujín, and Alberto Ammann. Directed by Miguel Cohan (Blood Will Tell) and Hernán Goldfrid (The Bronze Garden). It’s the third of Coben’s novels adapted this year, alongside Missing You and Just One Look.
All six episodes of Caught are now available on Netflix.
