ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has set date for the appeals of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and former premier Nawaz Sharif against the Al-Azizia case verdict for hearing on 18th December.
The case will be heard by the two-judge bench, headed by Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani.
Nawaz Sharif through his appeal has challenged the seven-year jail term awarded to him by an accountability court in the Al-Azizia reference, whereas the NAB moved the appeal seeking to enhance his sentence in the same case.

Nawaz Sharif was granted an eight weeks bail by the IHC on medical grounds and asked to submit two surety bonds worth Rs two million each.
Earlier in October, imprisoned Nawaz Sharif was arrested by the NAB regarding the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
In December 2018, Nawaz was sentenced seven years in prison in Al-Azizia reference by an accountability court.
