A unique project utilizing artificial intelligence has been launched by the General Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque: a “guidance robot” created to help visitors and Umrah performers within the Grand Mosque.
This cutting-edge robot facilitates fatwa operations by providing instructions on how to carry out rites and issue fatwas. The capability of adding simultaneous translations and interacting with well-known people who participate in answering questions remotely is one of its unique qualities.

Available in 11 languages, including Arabic, English, French, Russian, and Chinese, the robot is equipped with a 21-inch touch screen offering a series of services tailored for the visitors of the Grand Mosque.
Designed with mobility in mind, the robot sports four wheels with a smart parking system, ensuring smooth and agile movements. It also boasts front and bottom cameras with high-resolution capabilities, allowing for detailed surround photography of its environment. Enhanced audio features like clear sound speakers and a high-quality microphone ensure pristine audio transmissions.
The robot, which operates on a blazing-fast 5 GHz Wi-Fi network, offers quick and effective data transmission, showing the Grand Mosque’s dedication to fusing heritage with modern innovations for the benefit of its visitors.
