AC summons Shahid Khaqan in LNG case on Sept 22

ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court has summoned former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the LNG case on 22nd September.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi appeared in the Islamabad Accountability Court in a case related to the LNG reference. The court issued notices to all the accused and summoned them on the designated date.

Speaking to media on the occasion, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that he was accused of being sent money by an Indian company. the former prime minister said that the people are suffering but the government is busy hunting down the opposition.

“We are not afraid of the NAB,” he said.  Abbasi said that corruption was being perpetrated by the incumbent government where today sugar of Rs. 53 is being sold at Rs. 110.

The former prime minister said that today there is the most corrupt government in the history of Pakistan whose ministers and advisers are not able to give an answer.

“Every second person has become a minister and advisor today but the people have understood the reality of this government and now it is our duty to send this corrupt government home,” the former prime minister said.
