Model turned actress Faryal Mehmood has recently opened up about her marital status and addressed rumours about her divorce.
Faryal Mehmood and Daniyal Raheel tied the knot in May 2020. The couple looked absolutely lovely together and at many platforms they refuted reports of them splitting up earlier. However, there were reports that they have parted ways.
Now, in a recent appearance on Ahsan Khan’s show, Faryal Mehmood addressed several rumours around her relationship status and confirmed that she is now single when the host questioned her.
Later in the interview, Faryal also discussed that she wanted a man to have a brain for him to be eligible to marry him. Faryal talked about her single status thrice in the show stating, “I mean people are seeing me and observing that I am single, which is very obvious, so why to discuss it.”
Faryal also addressed the issue where Sonya Hussyn had multiple times refused to know who she was. “Unfortunate for Sonya and fortunate for me, I replaced her in a film and she went on to state, twice, that she did not know who I was.”

She also highlighted her views on body-shaming. “You don’t even have to be slimmer [to do well in the entertainment industry] of course,” he said to Mehmood. “People obviously do mind body shaming.”
“Yeah, you don’t have to [be slim], she’s doing so well already,” the actor replied. “Yes, it is considered bad, but because I have been through the journey, I know what body shaming does. If former fat people make jokes about body shaming, it isn’t a big deal,” she added, bafflingly.
