Pakistan’s fastest growing FinTech company PayPro has joined 1LINK as an affiliate member.

1LINK, Pakistan’s first PSO/PSP and largest payment system, offers a unique affiliate program that allows non-banking entities to offer their services through 1LINK’s platform.

An agreement to this effect was signed at the 1LINK Head Office in Karachi by CEO PayPro, Mr Ali Janjua and CEO 1LINK, Mr Najeeb Agrawalla.

As part of the program, PayPro will be able to benefit from 1LINK’s extensive payments infrastructure, including 1IBFT and Bill Payment System (BPS), while extending these advantages to PayPro customers in a seamless and effective manner.

Through the support of 1IBFT, transaction costs and time constraints associated with funds transfers will be eliminated. Additionally, through BPS, PayPro will leverage 1BILL’s payment service to become a bill initiator for its customers on the collections and payments side.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Janjua, PayPro CEO said, “This agreement will enable PayPro to further digitize payments in Pakistan and bring next generation payment solutions to SMEs and Corporations. We fervently believe that there is a lot of locked value in Pakistan’s MSME’s, unlocking which, has the potential to unleash a wave of prosperity in Pakistan, and PayPro is fully committed to play its part in Pakistan’s economic growth story.”

“This collaboration with 1LINK deepens our technical integration with financial institutions and establishes PayPro’s commitment to Digitizing Pakistan and PayPro’s aspirations to become Pakistan’s most innovative digital financial service company,” he added.

He said PayPro is now fully equipped to collaborate and support banks as their Transaction Banking partner of choice and help them in digitizing transactions for their SME and Corporate Clients.

CEO 1LINK Mr Agrawalla further stated, “It is very encouraging to see non-banking entities playing an active role in financial inclusion and offering value added services to the customers. PayPro joined 1LINK as a bill payment aggregator and it is a pleasure going deeper into this strategic relationship through the 1LINK Affiliate. We are hopeful that this partnership will further strengthen in the future”.
