The weather turned chilly after the shower. In lower Sindh, the weather remained cloudy throughout the day and there was light rain in Jamshoro. Several people were injured when their motorcycles skidded after the rain. Power supply to most parts of the province remained suspended for hours.

Earlier on Sunday, Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) issued a weather advisory predicting heavy rains and thunderstorms across the province during the next 48 hours.

The SDMA warned against heavy rainfall with wind and thunderstorms in Hyderabad, Larkana, Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad and Mirpur Khas divisions and Tando Muhammad Khan and Dadu districts.

The advisory addressed to the officials concerned to finalize arrangements to cope with the situation of urban flooding and to ensure the safety of lives in their areas.
