Worldwide coronavirus cases cross 99 million

WASHINGTON: The global pandemic coronavirus has infected more than 99,774,351 million people worldwide and killed 2,139,031 people.

More than 71,746,746 million coronavirus patients have been cured in the world and more than 25.886 million are undergoing treatment. The coronavirus situation is the worst in the United States, with 429,490 deaths and more than 25.72 million affected.

India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases, with 153,503 deaths and more than 1,668,000 people diagnosed with the virus.  The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Brazil is 217,081 and more than 88,444,000 people are affected.

More than 3.719 million people have been infected with the coronavirus in Russia, bringing the total death toll to 69,462. More than 3,647,000 people have been affected in the UK and more than 97,939 have died.

In France, more than 3,053,000 people have been affected and 73,049 have lost their lives. More than 2.6 million people were affected and 55,441 died in Spain. 

In Italy, 2.466 million people have been affected, while 85,461 people have died. In Turkey, 2,429,605 people have been affected and 25,073 have died.
