PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced to close educational institutions till 31st January.
According to a statement issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, the winter holidays in educational institutions have been extended due to the increase in the severity of cold in the province.
According to the statement, educational institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will remain closed till 31st January, and schools in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will reopen on 1st February.

It is to be noted that the federation has announced the reopening of educational institutions closed due to the coronavirus and winter holidays in phases. Student classes will begin.
From 25th January, children in primary to eighth classes will go to school, while classes in universities will begin on 1st February. Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood said that another meeting would be held on the 15th in which further decisions could be taken keeping in view the situation.
