KARACHI: On the first morning of the new year, the cold snap intensified, making the city’s temperature 6 degrees Celsius.
Pakistan Meteorological Department (PDM) has predicted a maximum temperature of 23 degrees Celsius. The cold wave has been raging in the city for the last several days and the temperature is being recorded between 7 and 8 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, the wind speed in the city today is 7 km per hour due to which the cold snap increased on the first morning of the new year and the temperature of the city was recorded at 6 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature will be 23 degrees Celsius.

The cold snap in Karachi is expected to intensify in the next few days.
The current temperature in the new city is 6 degrees Celsius which is likely to return to normal in the afternoon.
