ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday expressed puzzlement on how biased international media was over the human rights crisis in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK).
According to the prime minister, international media gave headline coverage to Hongkong protests but the dire human rights crisis in IoK was ignored.
The prime minister posted a series of tweets on Twitter, he wrote, “I am puzzled as to how international media continues to give headline coverage to Hongkong protests but ignores the dire human rights crisis in IOJK – an internationally recognised disputed territory illegally annexed by India with 900k troops imposing a siege on 8mn Kashmiris.”

The Indian government had revoked the constitutional autonomy of Iok since August, in this regard Imran Khan posted, “For over 2 months with a complete blackout of communications, thousands imprisoned, including the entire spectrum of political leadership plus children, & a growing humanitarian crisis. In IOJK 100k Kashmiris have been killed over 30 yrs fighting for their right to self-determination.”
