LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Marriyum Aurangzeb has asked why the priority of the government is only the accountability of Shehbaz Sharif.

Talking to the media, the PML-N spokesperson said that there was no one to ask the thieves about the hoarding of medicines, flour, and sugar. “While nothing has been proved against Shehbaz Sharif so far, the priority of the government is to make cases against Shehbaz Sharif,” she said.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Shehbaz Sharif was not given access to a doctor on the orders of PM Imran Khan, why the government’s priority is only Shehbaz Sharif’s accountability? Nawaz Sharif appeared in court with his daughter on a daily basis, she maintained.

Aurangzeb said that allegations were leveled against Shehbaz Sharif using the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and he faced the court despite the false allegations.  She expressed that Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that some people should say go home but today 22 crore people are asking him to go home, she claimed.

Earlier, Marriyum Aurangzeb had said that the government is engaged in reprisals against political opponents. She said that the NAB officials were shouting and demanding further remand of PML-N leader Shehbaz Sharif today even though he has submitted full details of his assets.

Aurangzeb said that baseless cases have been made against Shahbaz Sharif, not a single case has been proved against him. Who will respond to Shahbaz Sharif’s media trial? she asked.
