LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Marriyum Aurangzeb has demanded that PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif should be given access to a doctor in jail.
In a statement, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was responsible for the back pain in the jail of Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif.
She demanded immediate access to Shehbaz Sharif in jail. Whoever politicizes the health of his political opponents is despicable. Marriyum Aurangzeb said that no one can be younger than the one who politicizes the health of a political opponent.
PM Imran Khan is not saddened by the high cost of medicines but is happy by harming Shehbaz Sharif’s health, she claimed by adding that the prime minister was deliberately harming the health of Shehbaz Sharif.
The Supreme Court earlier rejected a petition filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) seeking the inclusion of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shehbaz Sharif in the Exit Control List (ECL).

A two-member bench headed by Justice Mushir Alam heard the case. The NAB had included Shehbaz Sharif’s name in the ECL, but on the order of the Lahore High Court, Shehbaz Sharif’s name was removed from the ECL.
The decision of the Lahore High Court to include Shehbaz Sharif’s name in the ECL by the NAB was challenged in the Supreme Court. On 22nd October, the Supreme Court had fixed the NAB’s appeal for hearing.
