Private security guard brutally beats woman in Karachi, video goes viral

RAWALPINDI: A woman had been working at the District Court Rawalpindi and impersonating her as a lawyer for the past eight years.

The woman had been posing as an advocate and deceiving complainants and other lawyers for over eight years. When exposed, the woman escaped from the premises of the court without disclosing her real identity

A case has been registered against the Civil Line Police Station by Rawalpindi District Bar Association Secretary-General Chaudhry Yasir Mehmood stating that complaints were being received against her.

He said the woman known as Saba Kanwal was working in District Court Rawalpindi but was not a lawyer. The joint secretary inquired about her credentials but she only presented a visiting card and membership of the Rawalpindi Bar Association but did not submit her lawyer’s license or law degree.

Chaudhry Yasir said it was later revealed that her real name was Naghma Tanveer and she was posing as Saba Kanwal. The visiting card and membership of the bar association were also proved to e bogus. She is accused of impersonating as a lawyer for eight years and deceiving complainants and other members of the legal community.
