‘Zainab Alert app’ set to be launched today

ISLAMABAD: The ‘Zainab Alert app’, where a report of a missing and found child can be posted, is set to be launched today at 3 pm.

The news was confirmed by Federal Minister for Human Rights, Dr. Shireen Mazari in a tweet that the app is being launched in partnership with the PMDU as part of the implementation of the Zainab Alert Law.

According to the federal minister, the MOHR’s existing helpline 1099 will also continue to be available. The app includes the reporting of any incident that occurred recently. 

The app would be a public web portal, through this app, the complainant would directly receive texts and updates from the concerned departments.
