WASHINGTON: The coronavirus has killed 1,081,418 people worldwide and affected 37,740,615.
The number of healthy people from coronavirus has risen to 283,47,122 and there are 8,322,015 active cases. The United States ranks first among countries infected with the coronavirus, with 219,695 people dying and 79,91,998 people diagnosed with the virus.
India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases, with 1,719,300 people diagnosed with the coronavirus and 1,09,184 deaths. Brazil is the third most affected country in the world, with more than 5,049 people affected and 150,506 deaths.

More than 1.298 million people in Russia have been infected with the coronavirus, bringing the total number of deaths to 22,597. Colombia ranks fifth among countries infected with the virus, with 27,834 deaths and more than 911,000 reported cases.
In Argentina, too, 894,216 people have been affected and 23,868 have died. More than 890,000 people have been affected in Spain, while 32,929 have lost their lives. In Peru, 843,731 people were affected and 33,305 people died.
The first death from coronavirus was reported on 11th January 2020, in China. On 9th April, the total death toll from coronavirus rose to 100,000. The first 100,000 deaths from coronavirus were reported in the first 89 days.
