ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the incumbent government is taking revenge to cover up its failure.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi while talking to the media after hearing Nawaz Sharif’s appeal said that the appeal would not affect Nawaz Sharif’s absence and the reports of the former premier proved it.

He said that our position was the same that Nawaz Sharif’s treatment was not completed due to coronavirus and he would return only after completing the treatment. The court asked the federation whether it had confirmed the health of Nawaz Sharif.

The former prime minister said that not only NAB knows what the whole of Pakistan knows but the very existence of NAB is malicious because NAB is saying we do not know where Nawaz Sharif is.

Talking about the case of Shahbaz Sharif, he said that Shahbaz Sharif appeared in the accountability court in Lahore today while a NAB case has also been registered against his daughter and wife. At present, every Pakistani knows the reality of NAB. All the bureau cases are against the opposition.

He said that no corruption case has been registered against the PML-N leaders while the present government is the most corrupt in the history of Pakistan and at present, there is corruption in every institution.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the government was retaliating to cover up its failure. The NAB sees only Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, and the opposition.
