Woman, son arrested for killing husband in Chiniot

CHINIOT: Police claimed to have arrested a woman along with her son on the charges of killing her husband over a property dispute in Chiniot.

According to police sources, a woman had registered a complaint with the police about the disappearance of her husband a few days back. The police launched an investigation into the case and after receiving a tip-off took her woman and her son into custody.

After a few hours of interrogation, they confessed to killing the man over a property dispute. The police, on the identification of the accused, recovered the body of the man by digging out the courtyard of their house.

The police said the woman had married a labourer by her freewill four years ago. After a couple of years, their relationship got strained due to their financial situation.

The woman and her son had a dispute over the property and later they killed the man and buried him in the courtyard of their house.

The police had lodged a case against accused under Section 302 after retrieving the murder weapon and started further investigation.
