ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar has called on the opposition leaders to support Prime Minister Imran Khan in the biggest tree planting campaign.
In a message on Twitter, Special Assistant Usman Dar said “Today, for the betterment of Pakistan and the security of future generations, Prime Minister Imran Khan is launching the largest tree-planting campaign in the country’s history in collaboration with the Tiger Force”.
Dar further said, “I urge the leaders and members of the opposition parties to put aside their political differences and become part of this national campaign in the national interest.”

Prime Minister Imran Khan will launch the biggest tree plantation drive today to plant 3.5 million saplings across the country in a day.
As per details, more than one million volunteers of the Prime Minister’s Tiger Force will also plant trees as part of the 10 Billion Tree Tsunami initiative, marking “Tiger Force Day” as earlier announced by the PM.
On Saturday in a message, the prime minister had said he has also asked the members of parliament, ministers and chief ministers to participate in the plantation drive.
Expressing hope that the drive will turn into the “biggest tree planting campaign” in history, he said: “The target is 35 lakh trees in a day, though we will try to exceed it.”
