KARACHI: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has said that the cleaning up of the clogged storm-water drains in Karachi will be completed by evening today.
On a social media website Twitter on Friday, the NDMA said that 95 percent of drains have been cleaned in Karachi so far.
The authority further said that approximately 30 thousand tons of sludge has been removed and 40 out of 42 chocking points have been cleared by NDMA and Frontier Works Organisation (FWO).
