RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) activists have raised serious concerns over the reformation of the party in Rawalpindi after the entrance of former MPA Raja Hanif in the arena.
In this regard, on 17th July, former Rawalpindi Corporation president Sardar Naseem Khan appointed president, Mansoor Baig as vice-president, and former MNA Haji Pervez Khan was appointed as general secretary.
Former MPA Raja Hanif has said that the PML-N Rawalpindi workers do not agree with the new office bearers. He said they are giving party leaders ten days to revoke the decision regarding appointments in Rawalpindi.

According to former MPA Raja Hanif, new faces should be selected by looking at the ground realities. He said that an impression is being given that no one is qualified for the post of general secretary except for these three people.
He said PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, former MNA Hanif Abbasi, Sajjad Khan, and Chaudhry Danial should be apprised over the reservations by party workers.
He said that if the demands were not met, a workers convention will be held in all national and provincial constituencies against the new party leadership.
