COAS Bajwa visits Karachi Corps Headquarters: ISPR  

KARACHI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has visited Corps Headquarters Karachi and Pakistan Rangers Sindh today (Thursday).

According to Inter-Services Public Relations, Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Humayun Aziz received COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa upon his arrival.

ISPR in a statement said, “During the visit to the Corps Headquarters and Rangers Headquarters in Karachi, the Army Chief was also briefed on internal security and operational matters.” Talking to the Army personnel, the Army Chief said that they should be vigilant in tackling the challenges ahead.

COAS expressed satisfaction over the coherent response by Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) in ensuring peace in Karachi and paid tribute to LEAs for countering nefarious designs of enemies.

The Army Chief also visited Garrison Health and diagnostic Centre and Field Isolation Centre. COAS lauded the support rendered by Formation in national response against coronavirus.

Chief of Army Staff also laid floral wreath at Shahuada monument and offered Fathia on arrival at Headquarters Sindh Rangers.

Earlier, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited National Defense University (NDU) in Islamabad today (Jun 25).
