RAWALPINDI: Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed who earlier contracted coronavirus has fully recovered and tested negative for the virus.
Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that the federal minister would be allowed to be discharged from the hospital today. It may be recalled that a few days ago, the federal minister tested positive for coronavirus after which he isolated himself.
The railway minister said that there were no symptoms of coronavirus but after the test came out positive, he isolated himself at home, however, he was later rushed to a military hospital of Lahore in critical condition.
Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed was undergoing treatment at the Military Hospital (MH) where Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has requested prayers from the nation. “I am grateful to those who prayed for my speedy recovery and appealed to the people to take coronavirus seriously,” he said.
He appealed the nation to follow and adopt the precautionary measures to remain safe from coronavirus. Moreover, Pakistan has crossed France in the total number of cases and has reported the 14th highest cases around the world.
