I was raped by PPP leader Rehman Malik: alleges US columnist

KARACHI: United States columnist and blogger Cynthia D. Ritchie has made shocking revelations of being raped and manhandled by the stalwarts of Pakistan Peoples’ Party.
Cynthia went live on Facebook and alleged that she was raped by former Interior Minister Rehman Malik in 2011 when PPP was in power. She further claimed that she was physically manhandled by former Health Minister Makhdoom Shahabuddin and former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.
In a Tweet, she claimed that the reason PPP is threatening her is not the tweet that she shared but the immense amount of dirt she has against the top-ranking officials of the political party.

#ZardarisFilthyPPP keeps threatening me. Why? Because they know that over the years I have been raped/assaulted by men in the highest ranks of PPP. They don’t want the world to know.

I have decided to go live on facebook in approximately 30 minutes & continue to tell my story.

The blogger went a mile more and claimed that she had evidence of what she had posted about the PPP in past days and asserted that all that is true. “I will be happy to go into more detail with an appropriate, neutral, and investigative journalist,” she concluded.

Cynthia D. Ritchie and Pakistan Peoples’ Party are engaged in a non-stop argument over a tweet for several days. The US columnist has posted critical remarks in her tweet about Bhutto and her husband Asif Ali Zardari. The PPP has already filed a police report against the blogger in this regard.
