44 doctors suspended for refusing duties in Taftan

QUETTA: Balochistan government’s authorities on Saturday suspended 44 doctors over refusing to perform duties at Pakistan-Iran border in Taftan.
Addressing a press conference, Balochistan government’s focal person for coronavirus prevention Mir Umair Mohammad Hasni has said that these health professionals were suspended for not obeying government orders.
Hasni maintained that the government will take strict action to make sure heath emergency remains active in the wake coronavirus epidemic, adding that 13 other doctors had already been suspended earlier this week for the same issue.
He further said that the provincial government was facilitating thousands of people at Pak-Iran border despite inadequate resources. He said that they have decided to establish a container city at the border.
Earlier, Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan had said the provincial government had initiated distributing ration bags to the deprived families across the  province. In a tweet, he had said 150,000 families will be given ration in the first phase.

The Ration supplies in all districts have already started from yesterday, in first phase 150,000 families shall be covered
