ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the weather would be dry in most of the country today.
According to the PMD, the weather would be dry today but thunderstorms would likely at some places in northeastern Balochistan and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Light clouds were prevailing in Islamabad early morning and the temperature was recorded at 18 degrees celsius, which can go up to a maximum of 22.
In most districts of Balochistan, the weather will be dry but rains may be overcast in Quetta, Zhob, Peshin, Ziarat, Fort Abdullah, Fort Saifullah, Musa Khel, Dalbandin and Barkhan.
The weather would be partly cloudy in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but thunderstorms are expected over Bannu, DI Khan, and Waziristan. Sindh, Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, would also receive rain in some places.
The weather remained dry in most parts of the country during the last 24 hours, but thunderstorms rained in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir. The highest rainfall was recorded 19mm in Balakot.
