ISLAMABAD: Former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the spread of the coronavirus disease has become serious.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi while addressing the National assembly session today urged the government to focus on the coronavirus instead of politics for the next two or three weeks.
Abbasi also welcomed the steps taken by the incumbent government over summoning the National Security Committee by saying he was happy that the prime minister has called a meeting of NSC.
He also said that all the political parties including his too should work collectively to tackle the disease.
Abbasi earlier said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) could not be able to prove any allegation against him despite being six months.
Abbasi also claimed that NAB was pressurizing his friends and family members and the bureau had paralyzed the country.
Abbasi held the incumbent government accountable for the NAB’s action against the political leaders by saying the state was using the bureau for political revenge.
