QUEENSLAND: Famous American Actor Tom Hanks has urged the people to take the health experts’ advice for the coronavirus.
A 63-year old Oscar-winning actor who has recently been tested positive for the coronavirus has shared that he and his wife Rita Wilson were taking their new roles as quarantined coronavirus patients.
Hanks in a tweet wrote that there were those for whom it could lead to a very serious illness. We are taking it one-day-at-a-time,” he added.

Hanks and his is have been admitted to the hospital on the Gold Coast in Australia. The couple also acknowledged everyone who was taking such good care of them.
Both husband and wife had arrived in Australia to film an untitled Elvis Presley biopic directed by Baz Luhrmann. Hanks was supposed to play Presley’s manager Colonel Tom Parker. The film, currently slated for release in October 2021, has suspended production.
Australia has confirmed more than 120 cases of infection, with three deaths from COVID-19.
