NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Residents of different villages took out a procession and held a demonstration in Naushahro Feroze on Wednesday against non-completion of road.
Local people of different villages protest against a contractor after the stopped ongoing work on a road project connecting more than 10 villages of Deh Mehangelo.
According to sources, a large number of people protested against the contractor. They said that this road is important for more than 10 villages.
The said it connects Village Ali Khan Khosa, Village Dhani Bakhsh Khosa, Village Raju Khosa, Village Hidayat Allah Mallah, Village Ali Hassan Khosa, Village Shahan Khosa, and other villages.
Protest leaders, Ali Hassan Khosa, Dilawar, Manzoor and others said that this road project was approved long ago, but its work is yet to be completed.
They said a contractor of this road has disappeared and abandoned the project which has affected thousands of villagers. They appealed to the watchdog agencies, including NAB, to start a probe against this contractor. On this occasion, a large number of policemen reached the spot to dissipate the protesters.
