ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Media Affairs Iftikhar Durrani has resigned from his designation today.
Iftikhar Durrani was the head of the Central Media Department of the ruling party. Iftikhar Durrani served as Advisor on Communication in Education Department to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2013.
His resignation had also been approved by Prime Minister Imran Khan. Moreover, the prime minister will chair the federal cabinet meeting today to discuss an 11-point agenda at Prime Minister House.
During the meeting, the cabinet under the leadership of the prime minister would review the country’s political, economic situation.
The cabinet in its meeting would consider the recommendations to provide immediate relief to the people. The session will also discuss financial statistics and inflation.
A decision related to electricity prices would also be considered. The Education Plan 2020 will also be discussed during the meeting.
