ISLAMABAD: Federal Ministry for Religious Affairs on Monday announced new dates for filing Hajj applications.
According to a notification issued by the Federal Ministry for Religious Affairs, the Hajj applications will now be received from February 25 to March 6. The authorized banks have been alerted about the new dates, the notification added.
The notification further clarified the process for filing Hajj applications was postponed for one day as Cabinet’s approval of an important point of the Hajj package was required.
Hajj applications will now be received from tomorrow and the designated banks have also been instructed to stay open on Saturday and Sunday to accept the applications across the country.
The notification further stated the Hajj application submission process has been made easier.
The confirmation has not been removed, it is still there and the applicant has to sign the affidavit, it added.
