ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that meeting the special children was always a treat to him.
In a tweet, Dr. Arif Alvi wrote, “One of the best days of my life, full of lovely hugs from Down syndrome affected children who had come from Jhang and graced the Presidency, to express their love for me and to present me with a flag. My concern & efforts for their full emancipation in society continue.”

Earlier on Monday, while addressing a ceremony in United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres honour, Arif Alvi said that Pakistan was among the countries most vulnerable to climate change.
He said that Pakistan was a peace-loving nation, which had rendered remarkable sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
