ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the diplomatic efforts made by Pakistan had played an important role in minimizing tensions in the Middle East following the recent confrontation between the US and Iran, and up-coming President Erdogan’s visit to Pakistan will further boost bilateral relationship between two countries.
Giving an interview on Saturday to the Turkish news agency, Prime Minister Imran Khan said, “Pakistan played its part after the missile attack on the oil refinery in Saudi Arabia. We spoke to Saudi Arabia, we went to Iran, we spoke to the US last September and October. And in general, we feel that we have played our part in bringing temperatures down.”
