Authorities said the seized data also contains citizens’ family-tree records and information related to various government institutions.

The suspects allegedly established a website called “Mini NADRA” to provide access to information related to the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).

The NCCIA said the suspects were also allegedly involved in the illegal buying and selling of sensitive data and accessing a platform known as “Khoji.”

Two mobile phones were also recovered from the suspects. A forensic analysis of the three terabytes of data is currently underway, while further arrests are expected as the investigation progresses.
