K-Electric announces maintenance shutdown schedule for August 28

K-Electric has announced a scheduled maintenance shutdown for August 28, 2026, affecting a number of feeders and surrounding areas.

According to the maintenance schedule, power supply will be suspended at different times at various locations as part of routine maintenance work.

The shutdown schedule shows that the 400 Bed Hospital feeder is scheduled for interruption from 10:00am to 5:00pm, while the Ara Machine RMU feeder will remain affected from 9:00am to 6:00pm.

The DHA Golf Club and Imam Clinic feeders are scheduled for shutdown from 8:59am to 5:59pm.

The Fatmid Foundation and Liaquat National Library feeders will experience an interruption from 8:00am to 6:00pm. The Haroon Sons feeder has the longest scheduled shutdown among the listed feeders, from 7:59am until 7:59pm.

Power suspension at Liberty Cinema, Muhammad Farooq, Police Society, Shaez Residency, Shanzil Golf Residency and Time Square is scheduled from 9:00am to 6:00pm. Meanwhile, Marhaba Galaxy and Millat Town will face interruptions from 8:59am to 5:59pm.

The Murtaza Commercial-23 feeder is scheduled for maintenance from 8:59am to 5:59pm, while the National Refinery feeder will be affected from 8:58am to 5:58pm. The R.T. Plaza feeder is also scheduled for a shutdown from 8:59am to 5:59pm.

The S. Highway Pumping feeder has a comparatively shorter scheduled interruption, beginning at 8:59am and ending at 5:29pm. The Union Cold Storage feeder is scheduled for shutdown from 9:59am to 5:59pm.

Residents, businesses and institutions located in the affected areas have been advised to take the scheduled maintenance timings into account and make necessary arrangements for the temporary interruption in electricity supply. The shutdowns are part of K-Electric’s planned maintenance activities aimed at carrying out work on the power distribution network.

The timings may vary depending on the progress of maintenance work and operational requirements. Consumers in the affected areas are therefore advised to remain prepared for the scheduled outage during the announced periods.
